 too much rust

This is a gorgeous knife set. I was genuinely happy with the knives over all. However, they do rust easily. I do handwash and arid them, but still have rust spots on both the blades and handles. Rust spots have formulated even when cleaning without delay after use- waiting causes more problems. I have used stainless cleaner, but have been unable to remove all the rust spots.

 Impressive initially… 2 months in they turn to crap!

My husband and I purchased this set of knives with cash from our wedding and I LOVED them at first. It seemed like a great set of knives at a great price. Wrong. We have not even had them for 2 months and assorted of the knives already have various rust spots. The spots won’t come off with anything. I have emailed cuisinart to see if this is covered under warranty…. no response. If not- Bed Bath & Beyond will take them back. Very disappointing.

 nice for the price

Great set of knives for a reasonable price. These knives are forged from a solid piece of steel, different from a lot of other knives in this price range. I suggest any person looking for a good set of knives to badly consider their construction. My wife was using a Ginsu knife and it broke at the handle, fortunately she fended off a severe injury. This knife broke, due to it is inferior construction, being accumulated rather then forged and shaped from a single piece of steel. These knives are very sharp out of the box and do not forget a SHARP KNIFE IS A SAFE KNIFE, for the price you won’t be disappointed.
